Native American

Like most places across the country, Native Americans had settled in and around the Escanaba area long before the city's founding in 1863. While not always containing accurate or positive depictions of their culture and lifestyles, many cards featuring Native Americans were made during the Golden Age. The cards displayed here are intended to offer insight into this time period.
